You may find this hard to believe, but I'm not
a big Jimmy Stewart fan. I know I know...everybody loves him. Well, what can I
say, he's not my favorite. But in this
movie, under the skillful hand of Alfred Hitchcock, I am a fan. But it's not
just Stewart that makes this movie, it is the catlike grace and stunning beauty
of Grace Kelly. It's also the eerie direction
(and a little misdirection) of Hitchcock. The man may have been a nut, but he
was an absolute master behind the camera. I saw this movie on the big screen
several years ago (at the Fargo Theatre) and
it made a lasting impression.
If you have never seen this movie, you are
missing an absolute treat -- probably the greatest Hitchcock flick ever.
