Now don't get all upset! I know Fatal
Attraction bugged a lot of people, but I thought it was great. And no, there's
no man out there that I wish to stalk! But I was
totally riveted by this movie! The performances by Glenn Close and Michael
Douglas are fantastic! And I don't even like Michael Douglas, so that says a
lot!
I think a
lot of people misread the story -- probably because it made them uncomfortable.
The movie is not about how some loony woman goes after an innocent man. It's
more about how every action you take has
consequences. If you haven't seen the director's cut of this flick with the
original ending, I suggest you take a look at it. The original ending is very
different from the one seen in theatres -- apparently
test screenings of the flick proved too upsetting for people, so they softened
the ending. The original ending is much darker and more profound and gives
Glenn Close a little more to work with. Even
if the subject matter is a little potent, I still think Fatal Attraction is a
great flick.
