Tom Hanks certainly appears on this list a
lot! And this was the first of his movies that I really loved. Perhaps it was
the timing of the movie, but way back in 1988
I completely fell in love with this flick. I laughed, I cried...it had all the
right elements. And Tom Hanks couldn't be more charming or goofy -- he was the
perfect fit for the "boy in a grown up's
body" part.
I can't say that this is one of the greatest
movies ever made, but I can say that it is one of my favorites. It's flaws are
evident, but I don't care. I love
it.
