I'm just as surprised as you are to see this
movie on my list! I mean who'd a thunk a movie about a talking pig would be on
anybody's list of the best of all time??
It's quite a shocker!
I first saw this movie on video a year or so
after it's release and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I
avoided it when it was
in the theatres because I just couldn't fathom liking it. I don't even like a
lot of those animated Disney movies where the animals talk. Yep, you heard me
right, I don't like The Lion King, but I love
Babe. Maybe it's because these are real animals and they're not moving and
acting like humans...I don't know what it is!
This is probably the only movie on my list that
you could actually call (yuck) heart-warming. It's sweet, it's funny and it
just so strange that I was sure someone involved was smoking something. And any
movie that is referred to on The X-Files must
be something special. :-)
